The Arrival of Squares

What's up neoclasSICK kids?!! Arrival is OUT! A versatile and contagious pop album that demonstrates true musicianship and creativity across different genres. Squares is completely in tune with what is popular in music today without compromising their talents or holding back. This album is a testament to stages in a relationship and is relatable, fresh and real. First jumping in with a power house of a song “Sound Wave” it sets the tone for the album and is truly a roller coaster ride. Although Arrival was released in Fall, we have been listening all Summer. The third song “Layers” has an 80s feel and splashes of that decade are present throughout. The tunes are perfect for any occasion from a BBQ to a Bar mitzvah. “Atmosphere” is the second song and quickly became a crowd favorite. Square's performance energy is spectacular and something to be seen. The passion and energy that is put into writing and creating the work is felt and heard fully when Squares is on stage. Watching them in their element you feel captivated by them and excited. The work they have put into this Arrival is obvious and you can feel the passion whether listening on boombox speakers, headphones or on a live stage. Squares is performing at all kinds of venues singing songs from his album Arrival. He has performed with the band at venues across Washington D.C as well as a solo acoustic act. Christopher Barret’s album Arrival is a statement of self discovery. Although the casual listener might consider it a “love” album.
